There exists a minimum hardware to represent a Turing-complete symbolic system. Information and computing share a common root. Translating domains is a messy business, however if you pick the proper perspective the answer is as easy as reading a dial.
It's the same concept as the Fractal Computer but with less moving parts. We're swapping in electromagnetic waves in place of the de Broglie waves, or was it the other way around...

No worries, the hardware doesn't matter (I crack myself up) too much, these devices are mostly software anyway. All we need is a bit of coherence and correlation.
